The stated purposes of the NSCYF shall be:

To create and deepen the spirit of Christian committment in youth.
-
To cultivate a spirit of Christian fellowship and unity amongst the youth
of the Christian churches and the Churches of Christ by promoting united
efforts.
-
To strive for an extension of Christian work and witness among those youth
who may or may not be members of the church.
-
To seek and to promote a wider fellowship of the ecumenical church.
-
To serve as a continuation and an extension of the youth ministry program
as currently offered by Johnston Christian Park (JCP).
